En Garde! occurs as role playing game set in 17th century Paris. Players require a roles of gentlemen duelist. A game was designed by Frank Chadwick and first published by Game Designers' Workshop in 1975.

History In the 1980s the game had get widely played by mail however GDW did non reprint it once equities were exhausted. Theo Clarke and Paul Evans ran a game for concluded Twenty players at a UK Gamesfair in 1981. Evans so wrote a BASIC computer programme to administrate the game & it ran more and more big games at sequential Gamesfairs. Inside 1985 a Gamesfair players asked for the game to prove my point postally. Evans began the postal game around 1986 around the fresh magazine known as Small Furry Creatures Press, which he co-published with Clarke. When of 2005, Evans continues to redo that game when Les Petites Betes Soyeuzes.

Clarke & Evans discovered that there was important require for the book arising from either their games & more postal games. Under a title SFC Press they bought the rights from either Chadwick & published the future edition. A profits of the game besides led to an annual convention,Furrycon, which run complete decade years. Once SFC Click was liquidated around 2003 the rights to the game were acquired by Evans personally.
